Introducing the #OSS4Renovation Cluster: Driving Europe’s Sustainable Home Renovation Wave
As part of Europe’s push towards sustainability, the OSS4RenovationCluster unites EU-backed projects under LIFE and Horizon Europe to simplify and encourage home renovations across the continent. This collaborative network focuses on developing one-stop-shop (OSS) solutions that guide homeowners seamlessly through the renovation process, from finding trusted service providers to securing funding. By centralizing resources, these platforms make energy-efficient upgrades more accessible to everyone.
Each project in the cluster addresses key challenges:
- Engaging homeowners and showing the benefits of energy-efficient renovations.
- Recruiting qualified professionals to ensure high-quality services on the platform.
- Building sustainable business models to continue operating post-funding.
- Fostering collaboration across local governments, service providers, and communities.
In regular workshops and calls, the cluster’s projects share insights and resources, tackling the complex needs of Europe’s diverse housing sector.
