Our technical objectives and developments so far
Four starting models have been identified so far for Integrated Home Renovation Services within CondoReno. The city of Antwerp, the city of Mechelen, Energiehuis Oostende and WNR each identified their business model, getting also inspiration from our APC French partner model, structured feedback and input from other EU projects. We also worked on the development of a joint ‘CA renovation roadmap’ and kickstarted the development of local co-creation groups. A proof of concept for demonstration interventions in the CA decision process has been started as well. In addition, we have established communication and networking with key local and national stakeholders to collaborate for CondoReno project. Furthermore, our activities so far and interactions with different stakeholders confirmed a need to start preparing an easily understandable ‘roadmap’ that could help the CAs and supply-side actors to interpret their tasks when going for a deep (living-cost neutral) renovation. We are now exploring how diverse customer journey models could help to develop such a roadmap.
Highlights from our C&D activities
We combined our kick-off meeting in Delft with our presence in SBE2022 conference. Afterward, to establish synergies with other projects, CondoReno was present in some IHRS related workshops such as the OPENGELA final workshop, Building Blocks meeting, SaveTheHomes-CondoReno meeting, EU workshops in Brussels on IHRS such as the one for ”Deep dive into the strategies & business models of the six French one-stop shops”, and the EUSEW 2023. To reinforce the policy actor integration, we also had meetings with Dutch and Flemish municipalities as well as our sister project FOSSTER! Our first public CondoReno workshop was held in Tiel, where we jointly explored the barriers and opportunities on how to deal with interferences in the renovation journey. Our partner IHRS developers explored further contacts with key stakeholders including local & regional authorities, policy makers, CA managers, legal experts and banks. We have been also further worked on the mapping of key stakeholders related to the success of IHRS, resulting in preliminary ideas about the possible stakeholder classification, and composition of local support groups, national and international advisory boards, stay with us for further establishments coming up regarding.
